The Dogs

As part of licence regulations and Adorable Paws MK’s insurance, all dogs must have fully up to date vaccinations and be given regular flea & worm treatments. Proof of these must be brought along to the meet & greet.
Kennel Cough is highly recommended and must be given 2-4 weeks prior to the dogs staying with Adorable Paws MK
No dogs under 6 months of age are accepted for daycare or boarding.
No dogs in season will be accepted for daycare or boarding, if you dog comes into season during boarding, your emergency contact will be called to collect the dog.
All male dogs must be neutered if over 18 months. No humping of other dogs will be accepted.
Dogs who scent mark or toilet in the house will not be accepted.
All dogs must know basic command words and listen to instruction.

Behaviours & Damages

Aggressive dogs will not be accepted.
Dogs who excessively bark will not be allowed to attend daycare or boarding.
Any damages or destructive behaviour caused by your dog, such as damage to furnishings, furniture, personal property, electrical products etc you will be liable for, and your dog will not be taken again.
Dogs who dig and try to escape whilst in the garden will not be accepted.
Dog must be able to walk well with other dogs and not constantly pull on the lead.

Health, Welfare & Illness

Any illness or medical conditions must be disclosed on the booking and consent forms. Any medication required must be supplied, administration of this can be discussed at the meet & greet.
Dogs who have been ill in the last 24hrs before coming to Adorable Paws MK or have had an infectious disease within 21 days will not be accepted. You must ensure that your dog is in good health when dropped off for daycare or boarding.
If your dog is diagnosed with a contagious disease or this has not been disclosed the emergency contact will be required to collect the dog, if this is not possible immediately the dog will be taken to the vets for isolation until the emergency contact can collect, this will be a cost to the owner.
Any vet bills are the owner’s responsibility if treatment is required during the dog boarding with Adorable Paws MK.

Pricing

Overnight boarding (per 24 hours) £36.
Second dog from the same household, discounted rate of £32.00 (per 24 hours) Discounted rate not applicable on bank holidays.
Daycare - Full Day 8hrs - £28.00.
Second dog from the same household £25.00. Discounted rate not applicable on bank holidays.
Daycare - Half Day 4hrs - £22.00.
Second dog from the same household £20.00. Discounted rate not applicable on bank holidays.
Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day are all charged at a higher rate of £55.
Other bank holidays are charged at the normal rate, however no discount for second dogs from the same household is given on bank holidays.

Bookings

Booking & Consent forms must be completed and signed before any stay can happen.
Any changes to the details given on registration of your dog must be communicated to Adorable Paws MK for future bookings.
All new dogs must have an overnight trial for stays longer than 3 nights and a daycare trial of half or full day. This is part of the licence conditions, to ensure that they fit in well with the other dogs and are happy left in the new environment.
A 20% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure holiday dates, the dates are only secured after a successful overnight trial has happened (for bookings longer than 3 nights). If Adorable Paws MK are unable to fulfil your booking due to illness your booking fee will be refunded.
The remaining balance after paying the 20% non-refundable booking fee is due 48 hours before dropping your dog off for their stay.
For ad hoc daycare bookings payment must be made at the time of booking.
Regular daycare booked in advanced is to be paid at the beginning of each month for the month ahead.
When your dog is boarding with Adorable Paws MK, you must inform your vet via email prior to their stay that you have consented to Adorable Paws MK dealing with any treatments on your behalf. If your dog needs to attend Adorable Paws MK’s registered vets in an emergency, you must also authorise your vet to release the dog’s medical records.
For boarding dogs your emergency contact details must be up to date, and the emergency contact must be aware they may be contacted in an emergency. If alternative accommodation must be found in an emergency, this will be at the owners cost if the emergency contact is unable to collect the dog.

Cancellations

Daycare bookings – Cancellations made with 7 or more days notice, the payment can be transferred to another day. Cancellations made with less than 7 days notice, no refund given.
Boarding bookings – Any cancellations to boarding bookings, no refund on booking fee will be given. Only in certain circumstances may it be considered moving your booking fee to an alternative date.

Opening Times

Dogs can be dropped off no earlier than 8am for day-care and boarding and collected by 5pm/6pm as below. Other times required can be discussed and may be able to be accommodated.
Monday - Friday 8am to 6pm
Saturday – Sunday 8am to 5pm
